Mike Piazza was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2016. One of the best hitting catchers in MLB history, Piazza is a 12-time All-Star, a 10-time Silver Slugger Award winner and has a record 396 home runs at the position. On the inside of the rear middle tail is a “RUSSELL ATHLETIC” size “50” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. Attached are two flag tags that read, “100% POLYESTER” and “2” EXTRA LENGTH”. Above is a “1998” year tag. Across the chest reads, “Dodgers” in blue tackle twill. Player number “31” appears on the front in red tackle twill. Player number “31” also appears on the back. Across the back reads the player name, “PIAZZA”. These are done in blue on white tackle twill. On the left sleeve is a “40TH ANNIVERSARY 1958 1998 LOS ANGELES Dodgers” patch and on the right sleeve is a “Russell” logo embroidered. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use.
