These two Louisville Slugger black bats were made to commemorate the Oakland Athletics' 1989 and 1990 seasons. The 1989 bat has the engraving "Oakland Athletics World Champions 1989" and along with an engraving "EARTHQUAKE," it has the names or facsimile signatures of the players and manager. The 1990 bat has the engraving "Oakland Athletics American League Champions - 1990" and has the engraved names or facsimile signatures. Players included on these bats are Mark McGwire, Jose Canseco, Dennis Eckersley, Rickey Henderson and manager Tony LaRussa among others. The bats are near-mint to mint.
