When you think of home run power hitters, is there one better than Mark McGwire? The skill, muscle and talent he possesses when launching a home is inimitable. We all remember the night he broke Roger Maris' home run record in 1998 and the eight more he hit following #62. But his lifetime achievements are far greater. Among these are 49 home runs as a rookie and fourth place on the all time home run list. This is a framed line up card from the August 1,1999 Cardinals vs. Rockies game with a photo of McGwire in action on the left. Below that is a metal piece that says "Mark McGwire Home Run #40, August 1, 1999." On the back is an attached certificate of authenticity which has been hand signed by McGwire and Cardinals manager Tony LaRussa.
