Desmond Howard won the 1991 Heisman Trophy while leading the Big Ten Conference in scoring with 138 points on his way to winning the Maxwell Award, Walter Camp Award and earning first-team All-American honors. On the front left tail is the Russell Athletic manufacturer’s tag size “44” with washing instructions. Attached are two flag tags reading “100% NYLON” and “2” Extra Body Length”. The player number “21” appears on the front and back painted in maize. Across the back on a blue nameplate is the player name “HOWARD”. The player number “21” also appears on both sleeves. These are screened in maize. On the upper left chest is the “MAZDA GATOR BOWL 1991” patch. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use.
