This retro collection of beautifully illustrated postcards such as the "Brooklyn Dodger Series" recreates the sights, sounds and smells of bygone days with portraits of players and action scenes. There are 48 postcards in all, 23 are signed by "Boys of Summer" greats such as Hall of Famers Duke Snider, Pee Wee Reese, Don Drysdale, and Leo Durocher, and others like Cookie Lavagetto, Cal Abrams, Don Newcombe, Ralph Branca, Andy Pafko, Carl Erskine, Clem Labine, Mickey Owen, Sandy Amoros, Leo Durocher, Tom Lasorda, and even Chuck "The Rifleman" Connors. Signatures are in blue ink and rate 8-9. Unsigned postcards include Jackie Robinson, Roy Campanella, Gil Hodges Walter O'Malley, Larry MacPhail, Branch Rickey, Walter Alston, Red Barber, the Dodger Sym-phony band, and of course, Ebbets Field. The blue-bordered cards measure 3-1/2" x 5-1/2" and are in excellent condition.
