The game's top scoring defenseman of all-time used the gloves presented here to rack up some of his record-setting numbers during his lengthy stretch with the Boston Bruins. Each of this pair of Sher-Wood SG-5040 Sher-Grip glove has also been signed in pen by the Hall of Famer. Dating from the early 1990s, the pair shows incredible wear throughout and each has been personalized by the defenseman's surname and jersey number. With Bourque becoming only the third defenseman to eclipse the 1,000-point mark in 1992, it seems likely that these gloves could have been used to collect some of the vital scores that contributed to that milestone.
