Very rare and eye-appealing panoramic team photograph featuring the 1917 Denver Bears of the Class A Western League. Lengthy 35x8" image portrays 19 players and team personnel not-quite socially distanced, but standing separately with crossed arms. Has some staining and minor paper loss, still very attractive; team is IDd on bottom front, photo is by Mile High Photo Company, Denver Colorado. The Denver franchise was in existence during periods from 1885 to 1954, including the 1948 season, in which they were the first tenants of Bears Stadium - later to become known as Mile High Stadium, the original home of the NFL's Denver Broncos.
