Cherished in print and song, the triumvirate of centerfielders who ruled the Big Apple during the 1950s -- Willie Mays, Mickey Mantle and Duke Snider -- are preserved in this striking poster reproduction of a 1986 illustration by artist Robert Stephen Simon bearing near-grade-10 signatures of each man in blue marker. The poster fuses facial images of the three legends looming over game-action insets, with the backdrop a collage of the Yankee Stadium grandstand and the outfield scoreboards at the Polo Grounds and Ebbets Field. The 19" x 24" poster is mounted in a silver frame.
