In 1972, Willie Mays capped off his peerless Hall of Fame career by "coming home" to New York, where he had broken in two decades before with the New York Giants. These eight photos taken of Mays wearing a Met uniform were each signed by Willie and some are signed by other Mets legends such as Yogi Berra, Tug McGraw, Tom Seaver, Darryl Strawberry and Met announcer Ralph Kiner. One photo shows Mays in a gag shot on a bicycle with Casey Stengel. The signatures, all in blue pen or marker, grade out at 8 or better.
