Any boxer who dares to co-opt the nickname "Sugar Ray" had better have nerve. Ray Leonard had peerless boxing skills. Leonard faced down all challenges, winning belts in five different weight classes. In 1978, he won the welterweight crown, lost it to Roberto Duran in 1979, and regained it in 1980 when Duran cried uncle ("No Mas," actually) in round 8. The lot is a recent MasterCard of Leonard's, which is engraved "Sugar Ray Leonard" and bears a grade-8 signature on the back in black marker. The card is in excellent condition.
