The 6" x 9" Wrigley Field excellent conditioned program has four pages of black player head shots against a gold background that is still bright and unflawed, and the centerfold score sheet with its pencil charting of the A's 3-1 victory (led by Jimmie Foxx's home run) looks like it was filled out just yesterday. The cover has photos of the opposing managers, immortals Connie Mack and Joe McCarthy against a vivid black, red and yellow background, and in the binding is a gold braided string.
