This beautiful limited edition lithograph spans the life of the "Splendid Splinter" as a man and a ballplayer. An image of Williams' young smiling face centers the 16" x 23" litho, next to a newspaper clipping showing him kissing the bat with which he went six of eight the final day of the 1941 season to hit .406. Williams' heroic WWII years are defined by an image of him in the cockpit of his fighter plane giving a thumb's up against a threatening sky. The crowning image depicts his final big league swing when he smacked a goodbye home run. The framed litho is signed by Williams in charcoal pencil, rating an 8+ and is numbered "262/406."
