This riveting lithograph vividly and dramatically freezes an image of Mickey Mantle in his prime taking his titanic cut against the backdrop of the jammed centerfield bleachers at Yankee Stadium. The 1994 illustration perfectly captures the 1950s details, including the pitcher's Washington Senators uniform and the Seagrams Seven Crown and Mobil billboard signs that ringed the bleachers -- and the 7-Up sign on a water tower high above them. A 1955 AL championship banner flies from the centerfield flag pole atop the famous monuments. The litho is mounted in a 27" x 35" blue frame with a white and red interior.
