Gil Hodges was an Indiana boy who became a New York legend in his stints with the Brooklyn Dodgers and New York Mets. This lot of seven assorted-size Scharfman photos show Hodges in each era of his career, including a head shot of him in his Brooklyn uniform, two shots of him (one mounted) reaching into the stands for a pop up and one of him posing with his "Boys of Summer" teammates. He is shown as an original Met sliding into third base, and as the manager of the miracle 1969 Mets in a head shot and in a gag shot with a bunny rabbit. All photos are in excellent condition.
