This lot of 49 Dodger action photos is a compilation of 20 of Scharfman's UPI pictures from 1955 to 1957 and 29 more from spring training in 1989. There are heroic game shots of Jackie Robinson, Gil Hodges, Duke Snider, Junior Gilliam, Roy Campanella, Pee Wee Reese, etc., as well as shots of spring training game and non-game images of Kirk Gibson, Orel Hershiser, etc. There is also a first-rate shot of the immortal Sandy Koufax unlimbering his golden left arm during a Hall of Famer gathering at Vero Beach at which a group shot of 16 HOFers was snapped by Scharfman. All photos are captioned and are in good to excellent condition.
