In 1987-88, the Edmonton Oilers won their fourth Stanley Cup in five years by sweeping the Boston Bruins in four games. Wayne Gretzky set a new record with 13 points in the finals. Also, it marked the last time the "Great One" skated in a Oilers uniform as he was traded in the off-season to the Los Angeles Kings. Considered one of the top teams in the history of the NHL, the Oilers were led by Hall of Famers Wayne Gretzky, Mark Messier, Jari Kurri and goalie Grant Fuhr. Pictured here is the trophy received by each player for the championship. The miniature "Stanley Cup" is about 13 inches high and 16 inches around the base. It reads "Edmonton Oilers 1987-88". Underneath is inscribed the names of the owners, coaches and the 22 players who got it done on the ice. The trophy itself is in excellent to near-mint condition.
