Davidson was tabbed as a first round draft choice in the 1973 Amateur Draft. That same year he became the first goaltender to go directly from junior hockey to the NHL. Following a distinguished playing career, Davidson entered the world of broadcasting and quickly developed a work ethic and enthusiastic style that put him among the elite broadcasters in the industry. In the neck of the jersey is the size tag, "56" and next to this is the "Cosby" label. Adjacent to this is the wash tag. Going diagonally down the front of the shirt is the name "Rangers" and on the back is the name "Davidson." The player number "30" appears on the back of the shirt and on each sleeve. The letters and numbers are made of blue on red tackle twill. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
