Perhaps hockey's greatest dynasty, the NY Islanders of the early 1980s won four straight Stanley Cups. Aside from the big names such as Bossy, Potvin and Nystrom, there were the role players who got the job done. Guys like Dave Langevin #26, Wayne Merrick #11, Hector Marini #29 and Anders Kallur #28 were the ones who did the dirty work in leading the Islanders to glory. These are four game-worn jersey's from those players. On the back tail of the Kalur jersey is the "CCM" patch and on the back tail of the Langevin, Merrick and Marini shirts is the "Sandow" ironed-on manufacturer's name. The Islanders may return to glory one day and it was these guys who helped get them there in the first place.
