Playing in his second season with the Bruins, Esposito scored a goal against the Pittsburgh Penguins for his 100th point of the season, making him the first player in league history to reach that mark. This puck, Esposito's 20th 1972 regular season and his 363rd career scored, is permanently protected in its own acrylic display case. The puck shows good game use and has the Penguins logo on the back. The accompanying NHL Registration Certificate indicates Fred Stanfield and Bobby Orr as assists as well as place, date, time, period and owner information.
