Aside from the storied tradition of the National Hockey League there were other leagues that produced some fine talent. The Kansas City Pla-Mors of the American Hockey League from 1927-33 and the United States Hockey League from 1945-49, produced NHL Players such as John Jackson, Chicago Blackhawks, Bert Omstead and Vic Staduik. This is a game worn sweater from the Pla-Mors used during the AHL days. With the AHL logo in the middle, the team name "Kansas City Pla-Mors" is written in a circle surrounding the AHL logo. The #5 is sewn onto the back in white with red trim and the sweater is in black with red and white stripes.
