Jerry Barber staged one of golf's greatest putting exhibitions at the 1961 PGA Championship at Olympia Fields (Illinois) Country Club. He sank a 20-foot birdie on No. 16, a 40-footer for a par on 17 and an incredible 60-foot birdie on 18 for a 70 to force a an 18-hole playoff with Don January that he won. This illustrated, 20" x 28" cardboard poster honoring Barber's feat was put out by Spalding as part of a "Hall of Fame Series." It depicts Barber knocking one down the fairway and hoisting the PGA trophy. The piece is mock-framed and with a facsimile plaque, and has some tearing at the corners though the images of Barber are undamaged.
