This framed display of Ben Hogan items commemorates one of the greatest golfers ever and in particular his 1953 season when at age 41 he won the Masters, U.S. Open and British Open. A limited edition 18-1/2" x 24-1/2" lithograph entitled "1953" depicts Hogan in his trademark cap taking a variety of shots, numbered 184/1953 and signed by the artist. Included is a check drawn on his personal account for $136.33 with his Ft. Worth, Texas address in the upper left corner and is signed "W. Ben Hogan" with a grade-9 signature. To either side of the check are gold engravings, one of a clubhouse and one reading "Grand Slam 1930." The litho and check are in excellent to near-mint condition.
