Popular PGA veteran Hale Irwin hit the pro tour running in 1968 and has been a fixture ever since. Among the Missouri native's 20 tour wins are U.S. Open titles in 1974, 1979 and 1990, when at age 45 he became the oldest Open winner ever. Currently playing the Senior tour, Irwin was at his peak when he inked this May 12, 1978 contract licensing his name and image for commercial uses. Irwin signed the contract in blue ink, with the signature near flawless.
