The Bobby Riggs vs. Billie Jean King "Battle of the Sexes" match on September 20, 1973 drew over 30,000 to the Houston Astrodome and a worldwide TV audience to see the 55-year-old self-described "male chauvinist pig" go against the world's best women's tennis player. Riggs was sponsored by "Sugar Daddy" and entered the match wearing this yellow jumpsuit with the candy name in red on the back. He lost in straight sets. Included in this collection is a brown carry bag with a great caricature of Riggs that captures his essence as a lovable cad, as well as 2 tennis racquets, which he signed in 1995 on the handles. One is a MacGregor Master model and the other a Wilson Billie Jean King model. Both signatures are in black marker and rate 8s. While the racquets show use, it is not certain that they were used during this famous contest. The warmup comes with a LOA and the racquets has two LOAs from Riggs' daughter.
