Victories in the 1990 and 1997 Indianapolis 500s are only two of Arie Luyendyk's achievements. This racing suit was worn by Luyendyk during one of the races of his illustrious career. The full-body suit is black with red trim and has a belt with Luyendyk's embroidered facsimile signature. In the neck of the suit is the "Simpson" manufacturer's tag. Various embroidered logos and patches adorn the suit. Luyendyk has signed the suit on the front and his thin silver ink signature rates a 7. The suit shows wear and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
