This may have been Pancho Herrera's most coveted award. It was bestowed on him on October 2, 1959 by his home country of Cuba for winning the Triple Crown of the International League. The 7-1/2" x 14" silver award is mounted on a black wood board. Its centerpiece is a copper-colored engraving of a ballplayer inside a wreath above his name and the inscription "Recuerdo por Obtoner la Triple Corona en la Liba Internacional." It was given by the Asscronistas Deportivos de La Habana. The silver is tarnished and scratched in spots but the award remains an impressive piece.
