Darryl Strawberry seemed destined for slugging immortality when he was blasting home runs for the New York Mets, during which time he was the NL's top vote-getter in the fan balloting for the 1986 All-Star Game. In honor of that achievement, Darryl received this geometric-design trophy measuring 18" high with a silver interior and wood paneling on either side and back. The excellent condition trophy consists of a base and tower and the top part is inscribed "All-Star Election Champion, All-Star Game 1986" and also has the MLB logo. The base reads "Darryl Strawberry, New York Mets."
