These 4 World Series press pins represent what might have been for the Chicago White Sox and Houston Astros, who pressed these pins with their team logos and names just in case they got in. This lot include 3 White Sox pins. The first is a 1" diameter pin from 1967 that is red, blue and gold and has a white sock in the middle, inside the words "Chicago White Sox, World Series." The second is a 1-1/4" pin from 1993 that is black and silver with the "Sox" logo. The third is a 1-1/4" pin from 1983 with a gold engraving of Comiskey Park. The Astro pin is 1-1/2" wide, gold and red, and shaped like the Astrodome, with "Astros" in blue inside a circle. All pins are EX+.
