A six-time All-Star, Minnie Minoso was an integral part of the Chicago White Sox teams of the 1950s and holds a most interesting record. In his 16 seasons in the majors, Minoso managed to get hit by an American League record 189 pitches. 1953 saw Minoso lead the AL in stolen bases and he was elected to the all-star team where he used this bat. This Hillerich and Bradsby, model M150, measures 33.25" and weighs 32.6 ounces, is uncracked and shows evidence of game use. Holes have been drilled in either end of the bat, most likely for mounting purposes, however it remains otherwise unaltered.
