For a guy who really wanted to be "a power forward for the Boston Celtics" Carlton Fisk put up some amazing numbers during his 24 year career. By the time all was said and done Fisk had caught more games than anyone in the history of the game and earned himself a place in the Baseball Hall of Fame where he will be remembered as one the great catchers of all-time. 1972 AL Rookie of the Year, Fisk played in 11 All-Star games. This Louisville Slugger, model T141, measures 34.25 inches in length and weighs 31 ounces. It shows moderate game use and has light pine tar on the handle. His jersey number "72" appears on the knob in and he has signed the bat on the barrel in black marker. The signature rates a strong 8 to 9.
