By virtue of his World Championship run as manager of the Yankees, Joe Torre has a plaque reserved for him in Cooperstown. Sometimes overlooked, Torre had a great major league career. Joe was a nine-time All Star and the 1971 National League MVP. This Hillerich & Bradsby, model U1, measuring 34.75 inches and weighing 31.8 ounces, is uncracked and shows evidence of nice game-use. The bat was signed by the 1965 National League All Stars, but the ball point pen signatures have all but faded. Still legible are Clemente, Sandy Koufax, Willie Stargell and a few more.
