"Hammerin' Hank" Aaron was one of the most prolific home run hitter that the game of baseball has ever seen. A 24 time All-Star, Aaron was the 1957 National League MVP and earned three Gold Gloves for his offensive skills. His 755 lifetime home runs are not likely to challenged in the near future, nor is his place in baseballs' history books. This Hillerich and Bradsby, model A99, measures 34.75 inches in legnth and weighs 32.1 ounces. It shows the labeling period 1973-75 and has been signed by the Hall of Famer in black marker. The signature rates a strong eight to nine. Aaron's jersey number "44" appears on both ends of the bat in vintage ink and there is light evidence of pine tar about the handle. There is an added notation of "33.5" in the knob in pencil which was placed there by the factory to denote weight. It shows nice game-use and is a tremendous example.
