For most of his 18 year career, Hall of Famer Billy Williams was overshadowed by more famous teammates Ernie Banks, Ron Santo and Ferguson Jenkins. Yet day after day, year after year, Williams put up great numbers. He finished his career with a .290 batting average, 426 home runs and 1,475 RBI'S. He was the National League Rookie of the year in 1961 and was a six time All-Star. This Hillerich & Bradsby, model S2, measuring 34.75 inches and weighing 32.8 ounces, is uncracked and shows evidence of great game use. Many ball marks are visible on the barrel and there is a moderate coat of pine tar on the handle. Slight grain separation is visible on the back of the barrel. Billy’s #26 is on the knob in marker and his black Sharpie autograph, which rates a strong eight, includes the notation "HOF 1987".
