Ron Santo was often called the National League version of Brooks Robinson. Although he won only 5 Gold Gloves compared to Brook’s 16, Santo more than made up for it with his hitting. In 15 big league seasons Ron batted .277 with 342 homers and 1,331 RBIS. This Hillerich & Bradsby, model S2, measures 34.5" and weighs 32.5 ounces, is uncracked and shows evidence of tremendous game use. The barrel is covered with ball marks and there is a light coat of pine tar on the handle. Ron’s #10 is on the knob in black marker.
