Willie Mays just may have been the greatest all-around player ever to take the field. Elected to the Hall of Fame in 1979, Mays had earned 11 gold Gloves and played in a record tying 24 All-Star games. This historically significant Hillerich and Bradsby, model S2 - Flame Treated, measuring 34.75 inches and weighing 32.4 ounces, is uncracked. The bat shows light use, as Mays only pinch hit in the game, with severals scuffs on the barrel, bat rack marks, and May's number "24" on the knob. He signed the bat "To Joe" in black marker. The signature and inscription rate a strong 8.
