Barry Bonds' upbringing left him suited to be nothing less than an all star baseball player. Cousin to Reggie Jackson, godson of legend Willie Mays, and son of a former all star ball player himself, it seems as though Barry had no chance to excel at anything but baseball. He grew up in Candlestick Park where his father played until he was about 10. He received plenty of pointers in the outfield from the other players while his dad took batting practice. Together the father and son form one of the most talented families in baseball history. This Glomar, model G-338, measures 33.75 inches in length and weighs 30.1 ounces. The labeling dates it to the late 1990s and the bat shows excellent use with heavy pine tar on the handle. His jersey number "25" appears on the knob in marker. The many ball and stitch marks are a testament to Barry's power at the plate.
