Babe Ruth made the act of getting wood on a baseball as entertaining as a man being shot out of a cannon, and this pin bearing the Bambino's image in a Yankee uniform swinging his mighty bat could put a charge into any fan during the Roaring Twenties who watched Ruth turn baseball from a game of running one base at a time to touching them all with one swing. The 1-3/4" PM-10 pin has Ruth's name at the bottom and attached is a red, white and blue ribbon and a 1-1/2" yellow bat and a white ball. The condition of the pin is very good, with the color of the ribbon slightly faded and the back of the pin speckled by rust.
