This 1957 Redtop Beer Company display ad combined the joys of baseball and brew. It dates back to 1957 and was the first in Redtop's "Hall of Fame Sport Series" featuring gold statuettes of famous athletes, in this case Babe Ruth, depicted in his batting stance with incredible detail right down to his shoelaces. The Babe's 7" image is bolted to the metal-backed piece, overlooking to the left a gold and red geometric Redtop logo with the slogans "Crisp Clean Taste" and "Proved Premium Quality" across the top. The 9" x 14" piece is in excellent condition with the original gold Redtop Sport Series label on the back with a brief biography of Ruth.
