"The Babe Ruth Story" became a cult movie classic since it was released in 1948 and this three-item lot of movie memorabilia includes the original 14-page program which sold for 25 cents and features a red cover with the image of Ruth just months before his death posing with star William Bendix. There is also an 8" x 10" black&white photo of the Babe with his arm around Yankee teammate Lou Gehrig, along with Ruth's record on the back, as well as a rare original 1" x 1-½" slide of a cigar-chomping Ruth and Bendix, in the original slide sleeve and the words, "Babe Ruth on his last visit to Hollywood" written on it. Both program and slide are in excellent condition, and the photo is in good condition with a few folds.
