Anyone who received this sturdy silver tankard around Christmas time in 1955 would have immediately wanted to go out and fill it with a sparkling liquid to toast his good fortune to be favored by the Yankees. Such gifts were the province of longtime public relations director Bob Fishel, whose generosity clearly extended beyond cuff links and ties. The 5" high tankard has a detailed handle and a glass bottom. The Yankee high hat logo graces the cup above the inscription "Christmas - 1955." The tankard is in excellent condition with a bare minimum of scratching.
