On May 30, 1956, Mickey Mantle came incredibly close to doing what has never been done. Batting left-handed against the Senators' Pedro Ramos at Yankee Stadium, Mantle jacked one that went screaming into the sky and would have cleared the right field roof at the Stadium had the ball not struck a foot or two lower on the old upper-deck facade, 370 feet from the plate and 117 feet high, preventing what might have been a 600-foot monster shot. This excellent condition ticket stub from that game lionizes one of the Mick's most legendary highlights. It comes with two articles and a diagram of the famous four-bagger.
