"The Mick." Sometimes nicknames just stand out and everyone knows who you are talking about. Many athletes enjoy the business life either while playing the sport or after retirement. Mantle opened his own restaurant in NY City. This is a rug from the restaurant with many great baseball designs on it. About a third of the way up is his initials "MM", also stitched in is the year '1931' the year Mickey was born. His initials are also on the bottom with an image of his #7 Yankees jersey and NY Yankees cap with cleats, bats, gloves and a baseball. The carpet is framed and is in good condition.
