This rare press pin marks the first World Series won by the Bronx Bombers, who in 1923 could be called that for the first time, having inaugurated the new Yankee Stadium that season. The 1" in diameter gold pin has "World Series" in a blue area at the top and "New York" in a red area at the bottom. "1923" is in the middle of a centrally-placed white baseball that is set against a gold background with the word "Press" and two crossed bats. The pin is in very good condition with a few tiny chips in the white center area.
