Hall of Famer Bill Dickey was the mortar of the Yankee dynasties in the 1930s and 1940s, catching at least 100 games for 13 straight seasons, a big league record. Dickey compiled a .313 average and in 1946 he briefly managed the team before he became one of Casey Stengel's coaches. The dark blue, zippered, two-pocket jacket is emblazoned with the word "Yankees" across the chest in script-style letters, and has double-stripe trim at the neck and at the end of the sleeves. Signs of wear and tear are visible on the jacket, including a few small holes on the neck.
