Rick Rhoden overcame osteomyelitis (a bone disease) and serious shoulder surgery in 1979 to become one of the more dependable pitchers of the 1980s. An All-Star in his rookie 1976 season with the Dodgers, he followed with a 16-10 mark. In the neck of the jersey is a gray label reading "Rhoden 88 1" denoting player name, year, and set number. On the left front tail is the "Wilson" label and adjacent is the flag tag with the size "44." Across the front of the jersey is the name "New York" and on the back is the player number "26." The letters and numbers are made of blue on white tackle twill. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
