Buck Showalter successfully built a career as the discipline-minded manager of the NY Yankees and Arizona Diamondbacks. This grey road knit jersey was worn by Showalter as coach during the 1990 season. In the neck of the jersey is a grey patch with "Showalter 90 1" in navy chain stitch, denoting coach's name, year, and set number. On the left front tail is the "Wilson" manufacturer's tag and size tag "44" and the "tapered" tag below it. On the front of the jersey is the team name "New York" and on the back is the coach's number "48." The numbers and letters are made of navy on white tackle twill. The jersey shows wear and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
