Haller signed with the Giants in 1958 and in a pennant-winning 1962 season, he hit 18 home runs as a platoon catcher. He was San Francisco's first-string receiver in the years 1964-67, and hit 27 home runs in 1966. In the neck of the jersey is a gray felt patch with the name "Haller" in black chain stitch. On the left front tail is the "Rawlings" label with the size, "46." Below this is "45 63" done in black chain stitch. The numbers denote custom size and year. On the inside left front tail is the wash tag and adjacent is the flag tag reading "Set 1 1963." Across the front of the jersey is the name "San Francisco" and on the back is the player number "5." Both the name and number are made of black on orange rip cord. The jersey has orange/black/orange trim around the neck and on the end of the sleeves. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
