One of the most feared hitters of all time in the game of baseball, Barry Bonds continues his assault on sending the pitchers offerings into orbit. During his illustrious career, one that will send him into the Hall of Fame, Bonds has sent the ball over the wall over 560 times and at the time of this write up is threatening Mark McGwire's single season home run record of 70 set in 1998. Bonds currently has 69 home runs and can write himself into the record books. Bonds has won three Most Valuable Player Awards in 1990, 1992 (with Pittsburgh) and 1993. This is a game-worn jersey that Bonds wore in the 2001 record season. The alternate road Giants jersey, is one he wore on the road during Friday night games. It's a black jersey with "San Francisco" going across the front also in dark letters with orange trim. The back has his #25 in black as well as his name with orange trim. Bonds placed his signature at the top of the 5 and a "Barry Bonds" Authenticated sticker is just below that. The front of the jersey has a Bonds authenticated patch that reads, "25 Barry Bonds Authenticated." The San Francisco Giants logo is on the left sleeve. This is a "Russell Athletic" jersey and comes with a Bonds certification.
