A sure-handed outfielder, Marshall had one of the most powerful throwing arms in the league. He hit a career-high .307 for the Giants in 1949 and later had several solid seasons with the Braves and Reds. In the neck of the jersey is the "Horace Partridge" label and adjacent is the size tag, "46." On the left front tail is a white felt patch with the name "Marshall" and below is another white felt patch with the year "52." Both these labels are in red chain stitch. Below this is an autograph. Across the front of the shirt is the name "Braves" in script style letters made of red on black felt. Below this is the Braves "Tomahawk." On the back of the shirt is the player number "27" in red on black felt. On the left sleeve is the Braves multicolored "Indian Head" patch. Included with the uniform are pants. Below the waistband, on the inside of the pants, is a white felt patch reading "Marshall 52" in red chain stitch. Inside the pants is the "Horace Partridge" label and adjacent is the size tag, "38." The uniform shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
