This Atlanta Braves jersey worn by Warren Spahn at the team's 1987 Oldtimer's Day is a reminder that when the Braves' home was Milwaukee, Spahn was like Greg Maddux and Tom Glavine rolled into one. In his career the HOFer won 363 games and had an ERA of 3.09, wining 20 a record-tying 13 times, authoring two no-hitters and leading the NL in strikeouts four times. On the left front tail of the jersey is the "Wilson" exclusive label and adjacent is the size tag, "42." Below this is the year tag "87" which has been done in black Swiss embroidered stitch. Across the front of the jersey is the name "Braves" in script-style letters in red on blue tackle twill and on the back is a white nameplate with the name "Spahn" in blue tackle twill. There is an autograph on the left front of the shirt. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
